“2025 Update: Galerie David d'Angers has been the home to the works of sculpture, commissioned pieces like the façade of the Pantheon, and a collection of contemporary busts such as Balzac, Hugo, and others. David d'Angers' works can be found across France and Europe. The main attraction of the gallery is that they display nearly all of the sculptures as plaster models, along with the preparatory studies for the final works, which are then cast in bronze or sculpted in marble and stone. The gallery is right next to the Museum of Fine Arts. They provide a wheelchair-accessible entrance and washrooms. The gallery is great for children. Street parking is available for a fee. Admission is free for those under 26. Disabled parking spaces are available on Toussaint Street and Lices Street. The venue also features indoor elevators, passenger lifts and adapted sanitary facilities.”

Un lieu splendide où il fait bon revenir régulièrement car des nouvelles œuvres viennent compléter la collection. J'ai moi-même acquis un magnifique tableau sur les conseils du directeur artistique, merci. C'est toujours un vrai plaisir de passer.

Lieu Magique. L'alchimie opère totalement entre la chapelle très bien restaurée par l'Association et les oeuvres toujours très bien choisies et mises en valeur. Le Directeur est un fin connaisseur, très accueillant. Incontournable pour les amateurs d'Art.

Galerie à découvrir.. Belles peintures et sculptures.

Their genuine love for the artworks and the artists is evident at every turn: they take the time to listen, advise, and share the stories behind the creations with rare generosity. The gallery offers a superb, varied, and vibrant selection. It's impossible not to find something you love! I highly recommend this gallery.

What a wonderful discovery, a more than successful Christmas gift! An infinite artist gallery, tailor-made, sharp advice from the smiling and warm owners! A place full of artistic culture that continues on the site where I was able to discover the artist Pinsard Marine! Just for the eyes, I recommend you!

The opening of this magnificent art gallery in the heart of Angers is a brilliant idea. There's something for everyone and every budget... I highly recommend it . Beautiful, charming, and surprising pieces... all in a wonderful atmosphere, both from the gallery itself and its owners.

Galerie très jolie à visiter ! La verrière est juste sublime, les sculptures sont baignées de lumière (et sont absolument gigantesques). Entrée gratuite pour les -25ans. La galerie est juste à côté du musée des beaux-arts, donc c’est très facile de faire les deux en même temps. Si vous passez dans le coin, arrêtez-vous et profitez d’une vue sublime.

Superbe galerie architecturale, du sol au plafond, qui met en valeur l' exposition magnifique de David d'Angers. Sublimes sculptures. Je recommande absolument.

Lieu à faire si on vient à Angers et si on aime l'histoire. Des personnes prestigieuses qui ont marqué leur temps. Accueil très sympathique.
