"Lycée Masséna has 230 years of experience, and the school's mission is to nurture innovative students of exemplary character with a love for learning. Lycée Masséna accommodates 835 students from Year 10 to Year 13 and 840 in Preparatory Classes for Grandes Écoles (CPGE), including 150 interns, making a total of 1,675 students. The school also offers boarding accommodation for CPGE students. The school trains each student to be a cultivated, responsible, autonomous, and open-minded citizen. They offer each student the opportunity to flourish by finding the path that will allow them to best exploit their potential and assert their personality.
2026 Update: In 1963, the boys’ high school in Nice was officially named Lycée Masséna to honour the Marshal of the Empire for his role in establishing the first imperial high school."
