“Lycée Louis-le-Grand has 462 years of experience that is rich in history, architecture, and culture this district brings together the oldest and most prestigious French educational institutions. The individual rooms, small in size, all have a large desk located under the mezzanine bed and a closet. At the beginning of the school year, the teachers concerned organise information meetings during which they explain the teaching of each of these languages for a particular level, their way of working, and the enrolment process. Their ECG classes offer high-level teaching and are the most effective way to access the leading management schools. Their strict admission process is based on academic grades, drawing from middle and high schools throughout France.

2025 Update: Lycée Louis-le-Grand comprises the high school itself (900 students) and the preparatory classes (900 students). The school also offers preparatory classes for the Grandes Écoles (CPGE) in science, economics, and literature. In 2011, the Lycée Louis-le-Grand is ranked 175th nationally and recognized for a 100% pass rate on the 2010 baccalaureate exam.”

LYCÉE LOUIS-LE-GRAND REVIEWS

Le lycée Louis-le-Grand figure dans les premières scènes du roman d'Hilary Mantel sur la Révolution française (1992) A Place of Greater Safety (Un lieu de plus grande sécurité). C'est donc un endroit populaire pour les amateurs de livres lors de leurs pèlerinages littéraires dans le Quartier latin, dans les 5e et 6e arrondissements de Paris. C'est dans ce lycée que le jeune Robespierre et Desmoulins sont envoyés dans l'histoire. Dans la réalité, Robespierre y est entré à l'âge de 11 ans, en octobre 1769, et y est resté jusqu'à l'âge de 23 ans, pour y suivre des études d'avocat. Le lycée Louis-le-Grand se trouve dans la rue Saint-Jacques, qui suit le tracé du cardo maximus de Lutèce, le grand axe romain de Paris, du sud au nord.

Lycée extraordinaire avec des gens extraordinaires. Superbe cheminée. J'ai particulièrement aimé la cheminée. Surtout le baby-foot. L'un d'entre eux est cassé, il devrait être remplacé

Je suis arrivé en TROISIEME année dans ce lycée, je ne m'attendais absolument pas à ce que j'allais voir et la pédagogie, L'ENSEIGNEMENT, je peux vraiment comprendre, les professeurs s'impliquent plutôt avec nous, ils se mettent à notre portée et ça c'est vraiment.... BON » Quentin F... non je dehek c'est vraiment cassé (Moubinool make me kids)

J'aime beaucoup l'établissement Henri IV, c'est un lycée super beau et incroyable, j'espère avoir la chance d'y être !!!

Je suis allé ici en tant qu'étudiant d'échange; est resté 8 mois. J'ai adoré, tout comme ma cohorte de visiteurs. Étudier au centre de Paris était un rêve. Bons professeurs, communauté. Je viens de découvrir qu'ils sont aussi sur Facebook. Heureux d'avoir des nouvelles d'autres anciens.

Je suis élève de cette école et c'est très bien. Les professeurs sont très encourageants et serviables.
