“Uptown Music School is a traditional music school that puts forward the pleasure of playing in a group. They are located in the heart of Marseille, at the foot of the Bonne Mère, the Up music school. Without rejecting individual practice, they believe that one does not become a good musician by playing alone on their own. During the school holidays, they also offer group workshops (included in the formula of your choice) in targeted themes to deepen your program even further. These workshops will then be used to refine the setlist of end-of-year concerts. You are free to participate or not, even if they greatly encourage you to gain greater self-confidence.

“The International Music School of Provence teaches music to children from the age of 3 and adults in Marseille and Aix-en-Provence. They have been in the field for nearly 20 years. The students of The IMSP take one private lesson per week and one group course per month. Parents attend all lessons. They are strongly encouraged, but it is not an obligation to learn to practice the instrument simultaneously as your children. The students perform in auditions as soloists and also in groups. These performances have no competitive character but give the child the opportunity to show their joy in playing and appreciate their success. The International Music School of Provence is confident that all children can learn and appreciate music. This experience will develop their personality and bring to their lives an enrichment that they will share with all those who take them.

2025 Update: The International Music School of Provence offers professional and experienced teachers in piano, cello, violin, viola, musical awakening, vocals, transverse flute, and guitar.”

Très belle salle, avec des sièges rouges très confortables ambiance feutrée on a l'impression d'avoir les artistes chez soi.... Une superbe programmation avec hier soir Malik Ziad et Piers Faccini un mélange poétique et profond d'instruments et de voix....

Un one woman show dans la cadre du festival de la nuit des griots juste génial! Rokieta ouedraogo, si elle passe près de chez vous foncez ! Donc merci à la côte de la musique pour votre programmation.

Downtown !! Le quartier le plus prometteur de Marseille !! La programmation est excellente !! Les tarifs sont également très abordables !!

Mon fils avait commencé les cours de violon Suzuki l'été précédent et nous souhaitions continuer à Aix. En quelques semaines seulement après avoir étudié avec Michael, il a fait d’énormes progrès. Professeur expérimenté et attentif, Michael donne des conseils très personnalisés pour pratiquer à la maison, traitant mon enfant de cinq ans avec sérieux en prêtant attention à sa technique dès le début, avec beaucoup de bonne humeur et d'encouragement. Ce fut un plaisir d'observer la relation entre mon enfant et son professeur, que toute notre famille apprécie beaucoup. À tel point que j'ai moi-même commencé à apprendre le violon, ce qui montre que Michael est un excellent professeur pour les adultes comme pour les enfants. Nous ne saurions trop le recommander !

Michael le professeur de violon est un pédagogue exceptionnel. Exigeant, mais avec une patience infinie, le tout avec beaucoup d'humour. Mon fils a énormément progressé depuis le mois de septembre. École très dynamique, avec concerts des élèves et même des propositions de spectacles pour les membres de l'école et leurs familles. Une très belle découverte !

L’imsp est une communauté de musiciens hors pairs, avec des volontés et des rêves. L’imsp nous a toujours aidé à les réaliser, avec des professeurs de qualité et un enseignement facile et efficace. J’en suis heureuse, tellement heureuse. Encore une fois, merci.
