"Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille has masterpieces from the Middle Ages to the 20th century that illustrate significant historical trends. The museum has more paintings than are displayed in the painting department. Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille has an extensive collection of Egyptian objects with Egyptian and Greek coins on display. The exhibition rooms 1 to 8 are dedicated to the temporary exhibits. The seven departments of the collection are divided into antiquities, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, plans, drawings, and mathematics. There are many sitting areas where you can focus on the surrounding art pieces.
