“2026 Update: Zoo de Montpellier is a free municipal zoo spanning 80 hectares with 11 km of trails. The zoo has been managed by Marine Baconnais. The zoo has about 170 animals of 29 different species. Zoo de Montpellier has yellow and blue trails that are accessible for people with reduced mobility (PRM) when accompanied, or for strollers. There are also water points located in the park. The guided tours, workshops and activities are offered by the educational department. Entrance to the Zoo de Montpellier is free.”

"Jardin des plantes de Montpellier covers 4.5 hectares and was established in 1593 by letters patent from King Henri IV. The garden consists of over 4000 species of plants in the open air, including 760 trees. The arts and culture provide students and staff opportunities to engage with contemporary art and cultures within and beyond. Jardin des plantes de Montpellier has a collection of anatomical preparations deposited by teachers and students, as well as additional collections such as wax casts or surgical instruments. The botanical garden is accessible with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and is also family-friendly, making the garden a great choice for visitors with children.

2026 Update: Jardin des Plantes de Montpellier has over four centuries of history and has 1,000 plant species in greenhouses. The garden gets 450,000 annual admissions. The garden is open to the public free of charge."

A very cool park in the forest. Ideal to go there with children to see some animals up close. You can visit for free. Free parking.

Super endroit...on a vraiment l'impression d'être hors de la ville et super bien entretenu.

J'ai adoré cet aquarium. Assurez-vous de réserver vos billets en ligne la veille, vous éviterez ainsi la file d'attente pour les insectes. Et ils durent des mois ! Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir et l'intérieur est agréable et frais. Le personnel parle plusieurs langues, ce qui est agréable pour ceux d'entre nous qui ont besoin d'un peu de répit pour faire travailler leur petit cerveau. Nous avons été surpris de voir à quel point les rafraîchissements étaient bon marché au café ! Très agréable. A recommander pour tous les âges.

C'est la première fois que nous entrons dans un grand aquarium, alors oui, entre les poissons, le « faux bateau tempête » et les énormes bassins de requins, nous nous sommes bien amusés... Je le recommande sans hésiter.

Nous avons apprécié le temps passé ici, l'interaction était vraiment amusante. Ce n'est pas un grand aquarium, mais il est vraiment spécial. Le personnel est chaleureux et amical.

Très beau jardin bien entretenu par l'université de Montpellier. Une visite s'impose pour une promenade relaxante dans le jardin. Le jardin a une grande importance historique, c'est le plus ancien de France créé en 1593 par Pierre Richer de Beleval sur ordre d'Henri IV pour développer la santé par les plantes médicinales. De nombreuses plantes intéressantes telles qu'une forêt de bambous, des orangers et un micocoulier de plus de 100 ans. Une visite s'impose si l'on se trouve dans la région.

Très beau jardin, agréable pour des promenades détendues, endroit idéal pour lire un livre ou pour dessiner la nature. De jolis chats se promènent dans le jardin. Entrée gratuite, pas de toilettes disponibles, mais une toilette publique à l'extérieur du jardin, très proche.

magnifique jardin ancien situé au cœur de la ville. l'un des meilleurs endroits de Montpellier pour recharger ses batteries et se détendre le corps et l'esprit.
