"Musée Matisse is a municipal museum with the artwork of French painter Henri Matisse. Musée Matisse was opened to the public in 1963. Villa Masséna Musée traces the history of Nice from the First Empire to the Belle Époque through collections of furniture, paintings, sculptures, and objets d'art. The gardens were designed by architect Édouard André. The groves were designed by the botanist Édouard André. Villa Masséna Musée is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
