“L’école Montessori bilingue de Montpellier School opened in September 2020 and features three English-bilingual Montessori environments. Each of the two environments caters to children aged 3 to 6, with around twenty children of mixed ages collaborating in each group. Within these environments, children interact with diverse Montessori materials categorized by subject area, encompassing practical life skills, language acquisition, and mathematics. L’école Montessori bilingue de Montpellier is staffed with two Montessori AMI educators, one French-speaking and one English-speaking, who guide the children's holistic learning and life skills development. The school boasts a spacious outdoor area, allowing children to run, play, and engage in physical activities. During the first year, the children initiated a permaculture vegetable garden, cultivating plants with an awareness of the vital role of underground life and enjoying the fruits of their successful cultivation. Expansive chalk walls are available for those inclined to express their artistic talents. For the youngest students, balance bikes and motor skills activities are freely accessible in the courtyard.
