“Perrotin Gallery is a prominent contemporary art space situated in the historic Marais district of Paris, France. Perrotin Gallery was established in 1990 by Emmanuel Perrotin. Housed within a 17th-century mansion that once served as a private residence, the gallery boasts three distinct exhibition areas, one of which is situated in the basement and focuses on video art and installations. With a dynamic atmosphere conducive to artistic exploration, Perrotin Gallery serves as a platform for 61 represented artists while also collaborating with 33 others, encompassing a diverse group of talents from over 22 nationalities. Over the course of its three-decade existence, the gallery has consistently championed both established and emerging contemporary and modern artists through numerous collaborative initiatives. In 2007, under the leadership of Emmanuel Perrotin, the gallery expanded its footprint by acquiring adjacent space, bringing its total area to nearly 17,000 square feet located at 10 impasse Saint-Claude. Annually, Perrotin Gallery curates 50 exhibitions and engages in 20 international art fairs, further solidifying its global presence.
