“Ko-Ishi is passionate about dishes like Eamani, Katsudon, Mochil, Chicken Katsu, Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki and Karaagel. Cristophe Caïola opened the first Japanese crêperie in the city. Cristophe wanted to reproduce a convivial setting reminiscent of Japanese pop imagery, kitsch and colourful, mixing manga with “kawaï” (cute) madness. Ko-Ishi also offers various drinks and sweets directly imported from Japan. The chef prepares everything by hand in his unique and thorough fashion. Each order is prepared instantly, which may explain the lengths of the service. Ko-Ishi also offers reservations, takeout, and dine-in facilities.”
